Haven’t listened to the audio for this post yet. Not sure I want to.Like so many others, I’d really like Fintan to follow thru with some evidence for his CIA Fakes list as well as a Non-CIA Fakes site list. I don’t think either is too much to ask for. I certainly agree that most of the conspiracy sites out there are pushing FEAR but ya know what … fear is a valid human emotion that very often spurs people into action. It does get dull and draining day in and day out. But that alone does not qualify a website as being a CIA fake. As for this non-issue of PsyOps posters on RENSE dot com … Fintan, most of the posters you cite are from this very old gallery here: http://homepage.mac.com/leperous/PhotoAlbum1.html http://micahwright.com/bio.htm So if you want to prove your contention that these posters are part of a PsyOp why don’t you start by finding actual evidence that their creator is now or once was an intel assett. sMiles

Yeah, that’s why Fintan keeps his metaphysical stuff on http://www.treeincarnation.com and not http://www.breakfornews.com and why I generally encourage keeping them seperate on my own websites. However, there can be much cross-over; for instance, it was my research into UFOs that lead me to ParaPolitics. As you research the govt and mils reactions to UFOs you immediately become aware of govt cover-ups and conspiracy and PsyOps. As you go from strictly UFO related research to Close Encounters and Abduction phenomena you inevitably come up against information about the CIA’s MK-Ultra programs and from their it’s a hop-skip-and-jump to full blown parapolitical intrigue. So the two can easily be linked and related. I don’t necessarily fault websites for mixing the two. I would more likely fault a website for HOW they mix the subjects.

I really like a lot of Fintan’s work, both his parapolitical and metaphysical stuff. I just am getting tired of him not following through (enough for my tastes) on his assertions about his CIA Fakes List. The commentary I see about this list from his readers seems more balanced and informed than his “evidence”. Like several of his skeptical fans, I keep waiting for more of his “research” and “evidence” to back his assertions.

I certainly agree on others’ analyses of the Fear Factor being manipulated to keep people from becoming activists but I think that same Fear Mongering CAN and DOES often motivate people to get involved or to atleast start asking more questions about everything.

I live in Austin and I’ve met Alex Jones several times and am not convinced that he is a paid agent. To the contrary, I think he is all too human and prone to human foibles … as is Fintan, myself and everyone else attempting to grapple with this increasingly Twilight Zonish surReality we find ourselves in.
